CEP 813 explores the concept of the electronic portfolio, or e-portfolio, in depth. The course aims to familiarize students with technical and conceptual tools for creating the final capstone portfolio.
From the beginning of the course, the class is divided into "houses" which are made up of four students whose work or interests are somewhat related. Discussions include topics such as what is considered "good work" and how such examples are chosen. The diversity of housemates proved valuable for these discussions. I was part of a house made up of an elementary school principal, a college technology coordinator, and a permaculture enthusiast.

Yes! You Should Create a Professional Portfolio Anderson, Mary Alice Abstract A portfolio is a collection of artifacts that document one's personal work, and it demonstrates one's accomplishments, contributions, and professional growth. More than a resume, it contains representative samples of documents one has written, multimedia presentations one has created, and projects managed. Here, Anderson discusses the importance of the portfolio as it provides an opportunity to showcase one's educational beliefs, works in progress, one's role as media specialist, and one's considerable accomplishments.
